creativeSHIFT @ Frankfurt Book Fair 2021
How do we want to live together? Book publishing and the European Green Deal - Social Dreaming for cultural actors
creativeSHIFT was represented at the "How do we want to live together?"-panel at Frankfurt Book Fair 2021 with project manager Simone Lippold.
Other panelist were Nina Klein (Ecopreneur and EU Climate Pact Ambassador), Simona de Rosa (Partner and Researcher at DEN Institute), Michela Magas (Member of President von der Leyen's New European Bauhaus High Level Round Table) and Peter Kraus vom Cleff (President of the Federation of European Publishers).
The panelists discussed on the EU's largest and latest innovation project, the European Book Deal, and its influence on content industries - especially the publishing industry. Möbius (represented by Simona de Rosa) and creativeSHIFT were represented as two innovation projects dealing - amongst other issues - with questions on sustainability within the content industry.
All panelists agreed on the fact that sustainability is a pressing and important topic for all business within the industry. Simone Lippold also talked about the creativeSHIFT Workgroup "Sustainability", dealing with this topic in regard to the whole content industry. One idea of this Workgroup is a Sustainability Guide, which could be used by all sectors. Before establishing such a guide, a feasibility study as well as common sustainability issues and targets would need to be conducted or identified.
